You may well have heard all the buzz online about the attacks on WordPress security. Unfortunately this is no joke, and it needs to be taken very seriously, or all you've built could be hijacked or worse, lost to you.
There is a portion of config-sample.php that's headed'Authentication Unique Keys.' You will find. There's a hyperlink secure your wordpress website inside that section of code.You copy the contents that you return, have to enter that link into your browser, and change the keys you have with the special keys supplied by the website. This makes it harder for attackers to generate a'logged-in' dessert for your website.
Essentially, it will start with the fundamentals. Attempt using complex passwords. Use letters, numbers, special characters, and spaces and combine them to make a password that is special. You can use usernames that are not obvious.
Exclude pages - This plugin adds a checkbox,"include this page in menus", which can be checked by default. If you uncheck find out it, the page will not appear in any listings of pages (which contains, and is usually limited to, your page navigation menus).
Make a note of your new password! I recommend the paid or free version of the software *Roboform* to remember your passwords.
Change your WordPress admin and password username, or at least your password and collect and use other WordPress security tips to keep hackers out!
